David M. Greene
David M. Greene is a Tampa native who has spent his professional career representing clients within the State of Florida, primarily Central Florida. With a broad range of litigation experience in construction law, personal injury, wrongful death, and general commercial matters he advocates in both state and federal courts across Florida.
Mr. Greene began his litigation career in the trenches of the criminal justice system, working as defense counsel for the State of Florida in Hillsborough County. While honing his litigation skills against seasoned attorneys, Mr. Greene was lead counsel in dozens of trials where his tenacity resulted in great successes for his clients.
While working with a large, national defense firm, Mr. Greene helped to build a construction defect practice for a national insurer which gave him valuable insight into the claims handling procedures and defense strategies employed by builders and developers. Now solely representing homeowners, business owners, and homeowner associations, Mr. Greene brings that same experience to his clients, fighting against builders, developers, and their insurance companies to ensure his clients’ rights are protected.
Mr. Greene graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2006 with degrees in political science and psychology. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law, with honors, in 2010 and was a recipient of the Governor’s Merit scholarship.
He is a member of the Florida Bar, Hillsborough County Bar Association, and Tampa Bay Inns of Court. He is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts and the Middle District of Florida. He has presented continuing legal education seminars titled “Impact of Electronic Communications on the Judiciary”, CLE # 18902; “Twitter, Tweets and the Internet: Trouble in the Courtroom”, CLE # 92530; and, A View to Kill (57.105 sanctions), CLE #150830.
